About Us
INTRODUCTION
Maestro recognises the rapid development of fine arts across the Indonesian archipelago and South East Asia. Maestro also recognises the untapped potential of ‘yet to recognised’ artists who are creating exceptionally high quality works. Maestro holds firm in the belief that exhibitions and auctions act as a catalyst for progress by providing a venue for artists to network, share ideas and provide a means to interface with the public and other players in the art community. Given this, Maestro was founded on the concept of complementing the expansion of the Indonesian art movement by providing auctions services which encompass both prominent and ‘up and coming’ artists works.

PT. Universal Collection was established on the 8th of August 2008 under the name of MAESTRO Auction House. Maestro’s head office is located in Jakarta, Indonesia. We offer our clientele high quality works of art with a focus on paintings and sculptures from both Indonesian and South East Asian artists. The MAESTRO collection encompasses art work from prominent artists and recently discovered gifted artists and whose high quality work is yet to gain the recognition that it deserves.

VISION
  1. To achieve recognition from the fine art community as one of the leading and the best auction houses in Indonesia.

  3. To maintain a diverse and expansive portfolio of exception quality works from prominent artists and undiscovered talent.
MISSION
  1. To attract and invigorate public interest and appreciation of Indonesian and South East Asian artists.
  2. To facilitate interaction of players in the art community including art dealers, artist and public.
  3. To expeditiously seek and engage with promising but undiscovered artists from across the archipelago.
  4. To provide drive and ambition to artists to produce exception quality artwork.
